I can’t believe that Ilusha is 1.5 years old today. Time surely flies.
We didn’t have a photo shoot like we used to, but had some pictures taken through the day. Ilusha went for a morning walk with deda and Daniel, and after his afternoon nap we headed to the Zoo where Ilushka had lots of fun chasing seagulls and peacocks 🙂 The pictures from today follow the stats.
18 month old stats:
weight: aprox 13 kg (our 18 month doctor’s appointment is not for another 2 weeks)
teeth: Ilushka has 16 teeth, the last 2 broke the surface about a week ago. The only teeth missing are the furthest ones, and I think there is still some time before they come.
Ilushka walks, runs and climbs whatever he can. He loves walking on the uneven surface (like uphill or downhill, or stones).
He points to every bird, plane and car in sight, and he cannot pass by a dog without screaming in excitement!!!
He starts following instructions. When he brought me a rubik cube, I asked him to put it back on the bookshelf where he took it as we were going downstairs, and he actually went across the hall and put the cube on its spot. Today, as he was playing with his sippy cup on his couch, we asked him to put it on the dining room table, so Ilushka actually got up, walked over to the table and put it on top.
He waives “bye bye” when he is in the mood. Gives “воздушный поцелуй” and also started kissing (actually kissing and making the sound “muaaa”).
He actually gives me little pieces of something he finds on the floor and says “kaka” for garbage. He can tidy up after himself. With my prompt, he puts his toys in the bin, puts blocks in the bag, or cars in the box.
He loves to feed himself, and would not let me feed him unless he also has a spoon or a fork and feeds himself first (sometimes he would want to have a soon/fork in each of his arms). That makes for some messy meals, but I am so proud of my little boy.
If you ask him “what does a cow say?” he will say “Mooo”, dog “Av Av”, cat “meow”. When he sees a lion he imitates a roar (the way I do it). When he saw a goat today he actually said “baaaaa”. He repeats and mimics almost all our actions, and lots of words.
Our words so far are:
– “мама” and “папа”
– “дай” and “на” when he gives something to others
– something resembling “собака” for dog
– “упало” when something falls or gets thrown on the floor (or when he falls himself)
– “бобо” for “больно”
– “kaka” for “kaka” and for pretty much everything else, including cars, flowers, stones etc. 🙂
– he says “brrr” when he wants to drink
– today he actually said “машинка” but it sounded something like “матанка”
