The weekend was pretty busy for our little family.

On Saturday, May 26, we had Julie coming over to clean the house and had to be out of there by about 10 a.m. So we decided to go to Grandpa for breakfast as he was all on his own, plus he needed Yura’s help with the fridge. He greeted us with his fruit cocktail that he has been wanting to have us try for a while now. It was very feeling and pretty nice, although with so many fruits and berries going into it, it was probably very high in sugar. Anyways, we did spend the entire morning there and afterwords went to a couple of stores to look for stuff for our basement.

I had an appointment at 2 p.m. and the night before pump some milk for Ilyusha’s feeding, I thought that his feeding might fall in the time when I would be away, and that’s exactly what happened. I did have 100 ml left for Ilyusha, and this time the feeding went without a hitch. When I was done my appointment, Yurka picked me up with Ilyusha and he was a very content little person 🙂 . We then decided that we want something to eat. I wanted sushi so we went to Ginza with baba Lyuba, who also cannot refuse sushi.

On Sunday, May 27, I really wanted to go to Lakeshore again for a walk. My dad told me to call him if we are going anywhere, so I did. He said that it is supposed to rain, the clouds are dark and it is getting pretty humid, so the rain is coming and he will not go.  I decided to go anyways as we can sit home all day waiting for the rain and it would never come. The weather turned out to be great for walking. It was pretty warm with a nice cool breeze, and cloudy so there I was not afraid of getting sunburned.  We also called Chandler and Sashka who like going for walks with us and their three little doggies. I fed Ilyusha when we got there and we started walking. Chandler and Sashka got to the parking lot a good 20 minutes after we started walking and said that they are going to catch up with us. As Yurka was on roller blades when the trail separated he went his own way (all the way to Downtown) and Ilyusha and I continued on our own.  Chandler, Sashka and cockita didn’t catch up to us until we were almost to the end of the trail, but we did spend some time with them. Yurka also joined us as we reached the end of the trail.  Sashka and Chandler took a cab back to the parking lot as they were running late. The somewhat funny thing was that one cab refused to take them with cockita – like this little lap dog can do any damage to the car.  And our little family walked back to our car on our own. Ilyusha slept during almost the entire walk and woke up very hungry, so I fed him again before we headed home.
